The material and the machine.
Towards the end of the 'sixties we introduced full galvanising for all our beam pipe, protecting the entire shaft tube and end from corrosion.
In the early 'seventies there was an increase in requests for more rugged and longer lasting flanges from clients employing extra-critical threads like nylon and ployester. This led us to experiment with various casting techniques aimed at satisfyng this growing demand.

After a series of trials, we opted for the centrifugal shell casting system. This exclusive technique, still employed today, not only produces aesthetically pleasing results, but the castings obtained feature a higly-compact molecular structure, providing the mechanical properties required to meet the new reliability levels demanded from our products.

Furnace's particular.
Beam shaft quality is also ensured by using only tubes of certified origin.
These are lathe-turned over the whole length and then galvanised. The beam flanges are fitted to the shaft by means of a ring in forged steel or spheroidal cast-iron.
Aside from beam production, we also manufacture clothrolls suitable for all looms, and have a department for the maintenance and over haul of all types of beam.
